On October 8th and 9th , Steven Couture (pictured above at the sewing machine) and his mom Sue, owners of NanaSue's Quilt and Gift Shop in Rochester, NH, sponsored their first ever quilt-a-thon. Participants included Carol Borg of ABC Quilts (far right in group shot) and John and Linda Linville. The torrential rains affected the turnout but couldn't dampen the quilters' spirits--or productivity! Over two days, the group made 29 quilts. Thanks to Steven and Sue for their organization of the event, delicious snacks, and stimulating conversation!
