02/04/03 8:13 pm How many ACs out there have used a local library, store window or even a post office to display some ABC Quilts and provide literature on our dual mission? These are all techniques employed by some ACs to make their local friends and neighbors aware of ABC Quilts. How about asking your local quilt guild for a few minutes to speak at a regular meeting? Recently here in New Hampshire we did our second annual quilt-a-thon at a local high school. As a result we made about twenty quilts. The young people learned that community service can be fun. And ABC Quilts got publicity also. Let's share our experiences, good and bad, on this bulletin board so we can all learn from each other. John
